Inglewood is situated in the South Bay region in Los Angeles County. It’s population has swelled to approximately 129 900 since its incorporation on February 14, 1908. The city is located southwest from Los Angeles and is one of the few cities that can be found on the shore of the Pacific Rim. .
Many commercial centers are located relatively close to Inglewood. Inglewood’s Century Boulevard, which is one of the busiest commercial corridors in the city, provides access to the Los Angeles International Airport. The cities prime location close to four major freeways makes it ideal for businesses to conduct domestic and international trade.
Inglewood has a grand total of 21 public schools and four private schools. It is also the home to Springfield College and the University of West Los Angeles Law School. There are several post-secondary institutions located approximately 20 minutes away from the city, including El Camino Community College, Los Angeles Southwest College, Loyola Marymount University, University of California at Los Angeles, California State Universities at Long Beach and Dominguez Hill, and the University of Southern California.
The neighbourhoods in Inglewood are absolutely beautiful and meticulously looked after. There are several quality homes available for a variety of price ranges. The city boasts lower real estate prices then other cities with similar climates. The average property value runs around $175,000. Inglewood has offered incentives for the development of single family homes, condominiums, and senior/disabled housing over the last 25 years. The community is largely family-oriented.
